This fabric is printed by hand by artisans in India. This is called "blockprint" or hand-carved woodblock printing. The charm of the fabric comes from its natural colours, its touch and its irregularities due to the printing technique. 

Here, the floral or leafy prints on both sides respond to each other without being quite the same.
